Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

The push towards becoming a more equitable and inclusive entity.

An organization that places Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at the forefront understands and values individual differences. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was brought to the world stage after multiple racially motivated events within the United Stated sparked worldwide rage and anger. TAP believes that having effective DEI interventions, researched based practices and a comprehensive strategic plan on DEI will be critical to organizations meeting their DEI company goals. The presence of COVID-19 revealed a lot of uncertainty, but it also revealed how racial and economically divided our nation is. We strive to help improve those areas for you and your organization. There are some major benefits to focusing on DEI, that include but are not limited to:

  • Enhanced organizational culture.
  • Boost in employee retention rates.
  • Increased employee morale.
  • Improved bottom line impact.
  • Help engage all stake holders.

With over 25 years of experience our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team focuses on the client and their main goals.

TAPs focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will lay with educational institutions and nonprofits. Dr. Chance Lewis and Dr. Amy Alexander will lead the DEI initiatives in which our experts will meticulously explore your organization. There are many questions to be asked. One focus is, how do you want your organization to perform when employees or stakeholders are confronted with DEI issues? We work with those dedicated to seeking better ways to reach their intended audience and hardworking employees, students, members, and stakeholders that are impacted by DEI and DEI related programs and initiatives.

Our expert consultants in DEI Dr. Chance Lewis and Dr. Amy Alexander will utilize proprietary methods and resources to assist with the needs of your organization or business. You will receive a customized program based on client needs, whether you are an educational association, school district or government/non-profit entity. This is a non-cookie-cutter approach. Our approach is to conduct a pre-assessment on the client, enforcing a participatory model known as The World Café Method and researched supported materials that provide actionable results. TAP Consultants use our combined years of experience and expertise that will provide your organization, school or non-profit with culturally relevant teaching practices and engaging employees, support staff, and students in their everyday roles within the organization’s environment to promote the culture and importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

We have consultants that reflect our commitment to developing extraordinary professional development programs and initiatives that foster and promote evolving diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

It was great to have TAP talk about diversity and equity in today’s training. The workshop exposed blind spots and opportunities for us to work for greater equity and greater understanding to assist in creating a welcoming culture that is inclusive to all here at Central Catholic High school.

The diversity, equity, and inclusion workshop was needed to move forward to enlighten administration, faculty, and staff on ways to get along. I would recommend that any university, educational facility, or business use TAP to provide a warm feeling workshop to advance you.

Maurice Lucas
Central Catholic High School Cultural Inclusion Advisor

Today’s workshop on diversity, equity, and inclusion was very informative. The biggest takeaway for me was self-reflection; before you can discuss what’s going on in your school, you have to discuss how I contribute positively or negatively. The interactive portion of the presentation was very helpful.
